I think of the therapeutic relationship like a lighthouse guiding a ship at sea. Therapy helps you move through the shifting waters of life, illuminating hidden troubles and unseen obstacles so you can navigate with greater clarity and direction.
My approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, which means we explore unprocessed, unconscious thoughts and emotions that may be shaping your experience. By bringing these into the light, therapy can foster insight and relief. At the same time, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, adapting my approach to what best supports each client. I see our work as a collaborative process — interactive, integrative, and uniquely responsive to you.

MY STORY
I bring twenty-five years of experience as a psychotherapist and counselor in both New York and Los Angeles. Over the course of my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and couples, addressing a wide range of conditions and life challenges. My work has included providing crisis counseling and emergency aid to survivors of 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina—experiences that deepened my commitment to compassionate, responsive care.
In my Los Angeles practice, I specialize in working with entertainment industry professionals and other career-driven individuals in fields such as law, media, and consumer products. I provide therapy for both adult individuals and couples, with a focus on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and the pressures of demanding careers.
I have trained and worked in a variety of settings, including The Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, Jewish Family Service, the Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund of America), Society of Singers, and Ocean Park Community Center. During this time, I have had the privilege of working with members of SAG-AFTRA, WGA, DGA, IATSE, and The Recording Academy. My years with the Entertainment Community Fund and Society of Singers nurtured my passion for supporting creative professionals, and that expertise continues to inform the heart of my private practice today.
With warmth and sensitivity, I work collaboratively with my clients to explore challenges, strengthen resilience, and find new pathways forward.
